Rights of Way Volunteers Needed – Stour Valley Way, 27th August 10:30am

A message from Councillor Mandy Willis

Following the great success we had clearing the Stour Valley Way back in July, plans are afoot to tackle another of our local Rights of Way. On Tuesday the 27th August a group of Rights of Way volunteers organised by our Dorset Council Rangers Team will be clearing the footpath which runs alongside The Kings Arms and leads to Longham Lakes.

The Rangers will supply tools, gloves, tea and biscuits and will supervise the work. The group will start at 10:30 and finish at 3pm.

If you are able to spare some time and would like to be involved please email cllrwillis@ferndown.gov.uk so that we can make sure we have enough tools for everyone.

P.S. if you are aware of a local public footpath or right of way that’s in need attention please let me know.
